Glasgow is One of the Happiest Cities to Live in the UK
According to new research by CV-Library, Brighton, Swansea and Glasgow are the happiest places in the UK to live if you want a great work/life balance. The research published in July found that the the happiest cities to live and work in are:
- Brighton
- Swansea
- Glasgow
- York
- Lincoln
- Belfast
- Edinburgh
- Birmingham
- London
- Manchester

It has world-class historic and modern visitor attractions, quirky and buzzing neighbourhoods such as Finnieston and the West End, beautiful architecture, an ever-evolving food and drink scene and legendary nightlife. Time Out even named it one of the top ten Best Cities in the World 2019!
In the list of the unhappiest cities to live and work in, none of them were in Scotland. Sheffield, Bournemouth and Oxford came at the top of the list.
